摘要: Microbial fuel cells (MFCs) are bio-electrochemical devices that exploit microorganisms for producing electricity from a variety of materials, including complex organic waste and renewable biomass. In this study, the heterotrophic microbe, Bacillus firmus was used as active bacterial component with synthetic waters bio-electricity production. Three identical mediatorless membraneless single chambered microbial without catalyst fabricated different carbon source operated in batch mode. The performance these MFCs glucose, hydrolyzed potato peel cyanobacterial biomass substrates were comparatively evaluated. Among found to be favorable substrate production whereas unable construct well-established MFC. maximum power density 16.46mW/m2 at 62.48mA/m2 achieved using mass substrate. A current 53.47mA/m2 appeared characterize produced polarization test 5.85mW/m2 glucose Article History : Received February 25 th 2016; revised form April 18 Accepted May 19 Available online How Cite This Singh, S.,  Pandey, A.
