摘要: Epidermal growth factor (EGF) wherein Asp11 is replaced with a different amino acid exhibits enhanced chemical stability. One may improve the storage life of EGF without diminishing its biological activity by replacing Asp at position 11 acid, preferably Glu, Asn, Gln, Ala, or Lys, more and most Glu. Other modifications additionally be made, substituting Met21 (which we have found susceptible to oxidation) Ile similar acid.
