摘要: Abstract The details of a radioimmunoassay capable measuring as 5 pg prostaglandin A, E, and F (PGA, PGE, PGF) in human rat plasma are described. Plasma samples extracted (with 4000 cpm [3H] PGE1 added for calculation recovery) with an organic solvent system at apparent pH 5.8 then chromatographed on silicic acid columns increasing concentrations methanol to separate PGA, PGF. Each sample is measured by radioimmunoassay, using the homologous antibody tritiated marker. 40 normal individuals had mean PGF 1062±107 pg/ml, 385±30 141±15 respectively. Elevated PGE levels were patients medullary carcinoma thyroid, carcinoid, neuroblastoma. Treatment rats indomethacin decreased serum 67%. The appears be considerable experimental well clinical interest.
