摘要: Exponentially growing cells of Escherichia coli were fixed in formalin, exposed to uranyl nitrate, dehydrated at low temperatures with ethanol, and embedded methacrylate. Polymerization was carried out -70 deg C, by exposure specimens radiation from a Co/sup 60/ source. Electron micrographs revealed that cellular division occurs the centripetal growth cell wall. The fine structure cytoplasm, nuclear apparatus, wall, cytoplasmic membrane also studied. (auth)
