摘要: An efficient protocol to induce shoot buds regeneration in Citrus clementina cultivars (‘Monreal’, ‘SRA 63’ and 64’) by direct orgaNogenesis has been developed using cotyledons as explants. Cotyledons transversely cut three segments entire ones were cultured on Murashige Skoog (1962) solidified medium containing vitamins, 500 mg l-1 malt extract, 50 g sucrose supplemented with different concentrations of BAP (8.8, 13.2 17.6 μM). In all the showed more morphogenic potential than after 60 incubation days optimum concentration was μM ‘Monreal’ (50% ± 2.89% frequency regeneration) (33.33% 3.33%) 64’ (25.93% 1.85%). absence No mor-phogenesis occurred, demonstrating absolute requirement this hormone for shoots induction. The young a regular growth culture tubes basal without hormones, rooted plantlets survived acclimatization. This may find application genetic improvement programs.
