摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility rapid vermicomposting different fresh fruit and vegetable wastes (FVWs) including banana peels, cabbage, lettuce, potato watermelon peels using earthworm Eisenia foetida. For this, changes physicochemical properties, microbial profiles biology were comprehensively evaluated after for 4 weeks. Compared controls (without earthworms), caused reductions total carbon content by 42.7-52.4% nitrogen ratios 46.5-61.1%, increases electrical conductivity 6.7-69.4% phosphorous 4.0-52.0%. Vermicomposting revealed a higher activity, density diversity in end products than controls. treatment FVWs allowed high growth rate earthworms an increased number cocoons. Similar community structures observed all vermicomposts, indicating degree bio-stabilization maturity. results suggest that is feasible technology converting into valuable quality vermicomposts strongly associated with properties initial substrates.
