摘要: Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the common reasons cancer-related death with few biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis. Solute carrier family 2 (facilitated glucose transporter) member 1 protein SLC2A1, also known as transporter type (GLUT1), has been associated tumor progression, metastasis, poor prognosis in many human solid tumors. However, little reported about its clinical significance biological functions GC. Here we observed a strong up-regulation SLC2A1 patients GC found that was significantly correlated depth invasion stage. Additionally, over-expression cells promotes cellular proliferation metastasis vitro enhances growth vivo well enhancement utilization. Meanwhile, elevated contributes to vitro. Our results indicate exhibits pivotal role growth, metabolism, suggest promising target gastric therapy.
