摘要: A novel optoelectronic quotient-selected modified signed-digit division technique is proposed. This method generates one quotient digit per iteration involving only shift operation, selection operation and addition/subtraction operation. The can be selected by observing three most significant digits of the partial remainder independent divisor. Two algorithms based on truth-table look-up binary logic operations are derived. For implementation, an efficient shared content-addressable memory architecture as well compact array processor with electron-trapping device Performance evaluation proposed shows that it faster than previously reported convergence approach.
