[Virulence factors of Escherichia coli, with emphasis on avian pathogenic isolates].

摘要: E. coli bacteria isolated from localized and systemic disease processes in poultry are designated as Avian Pathogenic (APEC). The disease-inducing potential of these isolates has been explained by the occurrence specific virulence factors. Despite extensive literature on factors for coli, unambiguous markers have not identified yet. relationship between serotyping is straightforward either raises question whether infections should mainly be considered opportunistic. Investigations into certain (combinations of) APEC fulfil molecular version Koch's postulates if former to answered.
