Use of the Serum Creatinine to Estimate Glomerular Filtration Rate in Health and Early Diabetic Nephropathy

摘要: We evaluated 100/serum creatinine, 24-hour creatinine clearance, and simultaneously measured clearance or estimated by the formula devised Cockcroft Gault in comparison with measurements of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) using iothalamate among 136 patients diabetic nephropathy. also GFR inulin 88 healthy adults, 21 hypercalciuric kidney stone formers their relatives, one man chronic nephritis. Creatinine clearances were closely correlated to ( r = 0.93) as clearances, 0.84) when ranged from 16 175 mLlmin (0.27 2.92 mL/s). These observations confirm clinical use either during water diuresis estimates assessment function.
