摘要: Abstract For laminar diffusion flames the onset of sooting can be predicted by a simple extension Bauke-Schumann theory such flames. Deviations from these predictions may caused effectively finite soot-oxidation rates and enhanced mixing due to turbulence. Both effects have been enhanced. It is shown that fraction carbon in fuel liberated as soot determined largely physical characteristics flame rather than detailed chemical nature fuel. The effect on production addition oxygen studied under conditions for which parameters are carefully controlled.
