摘要: A framework is built, wherein hydrological/water quality model used to measure watershed sustainability. For this framework, sustainability has been defined and quantified by defining social, environmental biodiversity indicators. By providing weightage these indicators, a “River Basin Sustainability Index” built. The then calculated based on the concepts of reliability, resilience vulnerability. applied case study, where, management principles, four land use scenarios are created in GIS. Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) as hydrology/water model. Based results uses ranked for policy implications have discussed. This show that landuse (both type location) impact existing weak Also, riparian zones play critical role sustainability, although beyond certain width their contribution not significant.
