摘要: Abstract The fore-and-aft, lateral and vertical forces on a seat backrest have been investigated with 12 male subjects exposed to random fore-and-aft whole-body vibration (0.25–10 Hz) at four magnitudes (0.125, 0.25, 0.625, 1.25 m s−2 rms). Subjects sat in each of sitting postures having varying foot heights, so as produce differing thigh contact the seat. depended whether feet were supported footrest: peaks found two frequencies when not supported, compared only one peak supported. high, their correlated subject mass. Vertical high but backrest. Lateral relatively low both In all directions, showed nonlinear behaviour. comparison previous study undertaken no backrest, it was that reduced (in directions) increased these frequencies.
