摘要: The difference between rapid morphological evolutionary changes observed in populations and the long periods of stasis detected fossil record has raised a decade-long debate about exact role played by intraspecific mechanisms at interspecific level. Although they represent different scales same process, micro- macroevolution are rarely studied together few empirical studies have compared rates evolution selective pressures both scales. Here, we analyse morphological, genetic ecological traits clownfishes demonstrate that tempo molecular species level can be, to some extent, predicted from parameters estimated below level, such as effective population size or rate within populations. We also show similar codons gene rhodopsin RH1 , light-sensitive receptor protein, under positive selection intra scales, suggesting acting levels.
