Cloning and expression of an isoform of the rmu-opioid receptor (rmuOR1B)

摘要: Abstract In this study we report the molecular cloning and expression of a novel isoform rat μ opioid receptor rmuOR1B. A brain cDNA library was sreened with fragment mouse δ-opioid as probe. One 2.4 kb clone isolated, which shows identity to recently published rmuOR1 (1993, Mol. Pharmacol. 44, 8) up codon 386. This putative splice variant (designated rmuOR1B) encodes protein is seven residues shorter than that predicted from sequence rmuOR1A now) differs in five amino acids at C-terminus. COS-7 cells expressing rmuOR1B recognize compounds same affinity rmuOR1A.
