The Relationship between Docu Soap Exposure and Adolescents' Career Aspirations

摘要: This study aimed to explore the relationship between adolescents' viewing of docu soaps and their career aspirations. The results show that among a sample 369 adolescents in last year secondary education, regular soap about midwives, veterinarians or para-commandos was significant predictor more positive perceptions profession. Ecological data on student numbers suggested these went up periods following broadcasting successful particular odds becoming programme recently featured increased by 15 percent. discussion focuses implications findings emphasizes need for continued research this area.
