摘要: Intravascular ultrasound is a promising new technique that provides tomographic, cross-sectional images of the vessel lumen and wall in vivo. The development intravascular started early 1970s when Bom coworkers [1] designed phased-array device with 32 elements mounted on 9-F catheter tip; this system provided two-dimensional, real-time images. increasing use percutaneous balloon angioplasty other interventional devices 1980s renewed interest imaging [2]. During past 5 years various designs have been developed are now commercially available. experience from several centers using indicates may some advantages over modalities currently used for coronary imaging.
