摘要: Stroke is a disease that develops from the very acute time point of first symptoms during next several hours and further to chronic period days or even weeks. During this evolution process, whole series pathophysiological events takes place. Therefore, characterized by continuously changing pattern. In consequence, as over time, different imaging modalities must be chosen accurately describe status stroke. present chapter, we have divided stroke into various dominant steps cascade events, with corresponding windows. Choice MRI variables for depiction most important aspects these windows are presented their information content discussed diagnosis investigations better understanding underlying mechanisms well relevance tools in success assessments therapeutic strategies.
