摘要: Summary Background  The high incidence of cutaneous melanoma globally has sparked interest in the features associated with second primary melanomas (SPMs). Objectives  To identify differences and similarities between index while comparing absolute relative risk subsequent development paediatric adult patients. Methods  A retrospective analysis patients diagnosed invasive malignant from 1973 to 2008 inclusive was completed data obtained Surveillance, Epidemiology End Results (SEER) database. Results  In total, 208 289 were SEER database 2008, 6888 (3·3%). SPMs increased increasing age diagnosis patient’s first melanoma. However, developing a nearly double for their at 19 years younger compared greater than 19 years. Compared initial melanoma, 44% subjects had different subtype located anatomical site malignancy 55% patients. Nodular more common as SPMs. Conclusions  Although is primarily adulthood, heightened population calls careful long-term scrutiny this latter following an diagnosis.
