摘要: Experiments have been conducted on Turing‐type chemical spatial patterns and their variants in a quasi‐two‐dimensional open reactor with chlorite–iodide–malonic acid reaction. A variety of stationary structures−hexagons, stripes, mixed states−were observed, transitions to these states were studied. For conditions beyond those corresponding the emergence patterns, transition was observed from turbulence, which is marked by continuous motion pattern within domain grain boundaries between domains. The turbulence analyzed measuring correlation length, average speed, total length boundaries. accompanied large increase defects pattern, suggests that this an example defect‐mediated turbulence.
