摘要: It is well established that strain and geometry could affect the band structure of graphene monolayer dramatically. Here we study evolution local electronic properties a twisted bilayer induced by high curvature, which are found to strongly structures bilayer. The energy difference two low-energy van Hove singularities decreases with increasing lattice deformation states condensed into well-defined pseudo-Landau levels, mimic quantization massive chiral fermions in magnetic field about 100 T, along wrinkle. joint effect out-of-plane distortion wrinkle also results valley polarization significant gap. These suggest strained be an ideal platform realize high-temperature zero-field quantum Hall effect.
