Turn-to-Turn Faults Protection of EHV Shunt Reactors

摘要: Shunt reactors are key equipments of EHV/UHV transmission lines and their operating state plays a decisive role in stability power supply system.On the basis analysis sequence network components shunt reactor turn-to-turn faults, novel fault protection, namely negative direction relay is proposed.Researches simulation tests on faults ground shows that presented method can correctly judge whether occurs protective zone or not sensitivity be greatly improved. Furthermore, unbalance system cannot reduce to false trip relay, inrush current has little impact it.
