摘要: The "coarse-grained" bead modeling methodology, BMM, is generalized to treat electrostatics at the level of nonlinear Poisson-Boltzmann equation. This improvement makes it more applicable important class highly charged macroions and peptides in particular. In present study, new Poisson-Boltzmann, NLPB-BMM procedure applied free solution electrophoretic mobility low molecular mass oligolysines (degree polymerization 1-8) lithium phosphate buffer pH 2.5. ionic strength varied from 0.01 0.10 M) temperature 25 50°C. order obtain quantitative agreement between experiment, a small amount specific binding must be included modeling. predicted increase with increasing strength.
