摘要: The optically dark globule IC 1396A is revealed using Spitzer Space Telescope images at 3.6, 4.5, 5.8, 8, and 24 μm to be infrared-bright contain a set of previously unknown protostars. mid-infrared colors the detected sources indicate several very young (Class I or 0) protostars dozen Class II stars. Three new (IC 1396A:γ, 1396A:δ, 1396A:) emit over 90% their bolometric luminosities wavelengths greater than 3 μm, they are located within ~0.02 pc ionization front edge globule. Many have spectra that still rising μm. two known stars LkHα 349a 349c both detected, with component c harboring massive disk being bare. On order 5% mass material in presently form 105-106 yr age range. This high star formation rate was likely triggered by radiation from nearby O star.
