摘要: A high definition television system is disclosed. The transmitter 10 of the invention compresses image data and transmits compressed during vertical flyback interval a standard NTSC signal. receiver 30 decompresses adds expanded lines to normal in interlineal fashion. In specific embodiment, an improvement operator 58 utilized expand fill missing pixels. output stored memory 56 which then scanned non-interlaced mode for presentation.
