摘要: This study evaluated the use of a bioresorbable membrane (Guidor USA) for treatment periodontal angular bone defects in eight periodontitis patients. Presurgical measurements consisted probing depth, clinical attachment levels, and digital radiographic imaging evaluation. Full-thickness buccal lingual flaps were elevated allowing soft tissue debridement, scaling, root planing. Bioresorbable membranes placed at least one defects, controls left without barrier placement. Clinical results 6 months after surgical procedure showed improvement control test lesions. However, sites treated with presented significant gain mass when compared to that had received flap surgery alone.
