摘要: Field survey for the 2003 Tokachi-oki earthquake tsunami was conducted by scientists from all over Japan [Tanioka et al., 2004a, b]. Large heights of about 4 m were observed at Hyakuninhama to east Cape Erimo and along beach between Horokayanto Oikamanai. Those places are close source region earthquake. In general, gradually decreased west away those two locations except Mabiro where a large height 4m locally observed. The most intensive Ootsu harbor. results indicate that quay harbor completely submerged tsunami, but road around not. Numerical computation carried out solving nonlinear shallow water equations with moving boundary condition near computed well explains above observations.
