摘要: Osmotic stress in ducklings (Anas platyrhynchos) results salt secretion and adaptive cell proliferation differentiation the nasal glands. We investigated whether osmotic vivo or muscarinic ACh receptor activation vitro changed expression levels of cellular protooncogene products Fos Jun, which may play a role initiation processes. Using Fos- Jun-specific polyclonal antisera Western blot experiments, we demonstrated that Jun is constitutively expressed gland tissue, whereas not detectable tissue from unstressed (naive) animals. Under conditions imposed by replacing drinking water animals with 1% NaCl solution, protein remains constant transiently upregulated. Treatment cultured agonists transcriptionally regulated an atropine-sensitive manner. Immunohistochemical experiments show accumulation occurs nuclei secretory cells. These indicate c-fos gene induced receptor-mediated signaling pathways important growth processes glands osmotically stressed ducklings.
