AURORA: bariatric surgery registration in women of reproductive age - a multicenter prospective cohort study.

摘要: The expansion of the obesity epidemic is accompanied with an increase in bariatric procedures, particular women reproductive age. weight loss induced by surgery believed to reverse negative impact overweight and on female reproduction, however, research limited retrospective cohort studies a growing number small case-series case-(control) studies. AURORA multicenter prospective study. main objective collect long-term data outcomes before after subsequent pregnancy. Women aged 18–45 years are invited participate at 4 possible inclusion moments: 1) surgery, 2) 3) 15 weeks pregnancy 4) immediate postpartum period (day 3–4). Depending time inclusion, collected (T1), 3 weeks 3, 6, 12 or x months (T2-T5) during first, second third trimester (T6-T8), delivery (T9) 6 weeks 6 months (T10-T11). Online questionnaires send different measuring moments. Data contraception, menstrual cycle, sexuality, intention becoming pregnant, diet, physical activity, lifestyle, psycho-social characteristics dietary supplement intake. Fasting blood samples determine levels vitamin A, D, E, K, B-1, B-12 folate, albumin, total protein, coagulation parameters, magnesium, calcium, zinc glucose. Participants weighted every moment.
