摘要: Bandura's social learning theory provides a useful conceptual framework to understand medical students' perceptions of house calls experience at Virginia Commonwealth University School Medicine. Social and role modeling reflect Liaison Committee on Medical Education guidelines for “Medical schools (to) ensure that the environment students promotes development explicit appropriate professional attributes (attitudes, behaviors, identity) in their students.” This qualitative study reports findings from open-ended survey questions 123 who observed preceptor during elderly homebound patients.
