摘要: Synchronous multiplicity of cranial and spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) is known but uncommon. The authors report on a patient with the unusual finding multiple separate DAVFs. initially presented vague visual symptoms in 2004. A DAVF was identified along left transverse sinus cortical venous reflux another posterior part superior sagittal no reflux. first treated both endovascularly surgically second untreated. follow-up angiogram showed DAVFs at levels C-1, C-2, C-6 side C-3 level right anterior retrospective analysis digital subtraction MR images suggested that cervical were already present 2004 (6 years previously). Multiple DAVFs, although rare, do exist it important to look for any evidence their presence when evaluating patients suggestive fistulas.
