摘要: Conventional septoplasty cannot be the answer to all types of septal deviation. Indications extracorporal reconstruction with polydioxanone (PDS) foil: (i) selected cases very high deviations, (ii) post-traumatic and (iii) extremely pronounced congenital deviations and/or aesthetic deformities. Polydioxanone foil facilitates incorporation a newly implanted graft without significant postoperative complications is absorbed within 25 weeks. The surgical technique described in detail, early functional results (mean follow-up: 11 months) on 16 patients age: 42 years) are reported. Overall, 88% responded positively question whether they would choose undergo same procedure again, knowing result. easy learn has already proved an excellent combination modern nasal surgery.
