摘要: Abstract Producing and using renewable fuels for transportation is one approach sustainable energy future the world. A fuel contributes lesser global climate change. The present work reports on utilization of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) as a primary with diethyl ether (DEE) an ignition enhancer in direct injection diesel engine. LPG has simpler hydrocarbon structure than conventional fuels. DEE recently reported to be low-emission high-quality replacement. single cylinder, four-stroke, water-cooled naturally aspirated DI engine having rated output 3.7 kW at 1500 rpm was used experiments. Measurements were made study performance, combustion emissions characteristics. From results, it observed that, brake thermal efficiency lower by about 23% full load reduction 65% NO emission operation. maximum smoke particulate 85% 89%, respectively, when compared that operation, however increase CO HC observed.
