摘要: The gastrointestinal tract of the King's skink (Egernia kingii) was examined for presence fifteen regulatory peptides, two proteinases and an amine by immunohistochemical methods. Immunoreactivity detected somatostatin, gastrin, motilin, bovine pancreatic polypeptide, pepsinogen serotonin, but not avian gastric inhibitory peptide, secretin, cholecystokinin, enteroglucagon, glucagon, gastrin-releasing neurotensin, vasoactive leu-enkephalin or chymosin. six peptides in E. kingii have been previously found squamate reptiles; however, immunoreactivity other squamates, particular another skink, observed. In addition, chromogranin to be effective detection endocrine cells though its specificity unknown.
