摘要: Depression, anxiety, delirium, and other psychiatric symptoms are highly prevalent in the cancer setting, pharmacological intervention is an important component overall psychosocial care of patient. Psychopharmacology also used as a primary or adjuvant treatment for management cancer-related stemming from disease itself and/or its treatment, including sleep disturbance, loss appetite, neuropathic pain, nausea, fatigue, hot flashes. Psychiatrists, oncologists, palliative physicians working members multidisciplinary team have opportunity to target multiple that negatively affect patient's quality life with strategic use psychotropic medications when deemed appropriate. This article aims review indications antidepressants, psychostimulants, anxiolytics, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers oncology. An updated relevant literature discussed referenced each section.
