摘要: The mammalian circadian timing system is organized into hierarchical structures with a central clock in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) and subsidiary peripheral oscillators. After discovery of local clockwork organs tissues, which have molecular makeup similar to pacemaker SCN, uncovering roles rhythmic physiology has been an emerging goal chronobiology. Glucocorticoid (GC) multifunctional adrenal steroid hormone that shows robust rhythm. daily GC rhythm long thought be governed by SCN via hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal neuroendocrine axis. Recent findings, however, indicate multiple regulatory mechanisms, including intrinsic mechanism clock, are also involved. regulates diverse physiological processes acts as signal for resetting clocks, suggests importance harmonizing overall behavior. Therefore, this review, we will discuss important role regulation its relevance system.
