摘要: The development of uranium and plutonium nitrides or their solid solutions as a possible fuel element for fast breeder-reactors, is conditioned by possibilities production those compounds on large scale the evaluation general properties. A low temperature preparation method described. Under pressure nitrogen reacts with massive-metallic samples when superficially hydrided. Higher so produced have mean composition range UN1.75-UN1.77. Uranium mononitrides UN obtained dissociation UN1.77 under vacuum at 800° C higher temperatures. With which no nitride exists, mononitride directly prepared metal nitration. Under same conditions (UPu)N can be nitration U/Pu alloys; mixture (UN)1.77 obtained. Densities 87 % theorical density are natural sintering compacts. Sintering improvement grain growth observed an liquid phase present. Low metallic additions do not improve behaviour, but bodies 90 theoretical small addition oxydes such UO2, ZrO2. After diffusion in state UN—PuN mixture, solution sintered to density. The PuN above 1650° strong volatilization high characteristic features compounds. The lattice parameter 900° increases linearly content. For annealed follows linear variation different slope. In conclusion properties carbides elements compared.
