摘要: Since the first descriptions, morphologic classification of LAM has been accepted. The WHO incorporates morphology, immunophenotype, cytogenetic, and molecular features to adapt treatment predict prognosis. purpose this study is describe epidemiologic, clinical, cytological, cytogenetic characteristics blood bone marrow in myeloid acute leukemia (AML): 281 484 cases diagnosed between January 1998 December 2008 center Tunisia. hemograms were done on Coulter MAXM LH 750. Slides for peripheral each patient separately by three morphologists. Patient’s age varies from 10 months 93 years with predominance male patients (ratio: 1.25). Fifteen percent presented generalized leukemic tumor. Blasts are present 92% cases. exam slides myeloperoxydase shows AML1 (20.6%) AML2 (23.8%). Seventeen unable classify according criteria FAB group. Karyotype was revealed t(8;21) 13.9% During last 20 years, Tunisia entered a new phase demographic transition: AML rise.
