摘要: This article addresses the major design challenges of antenna systems intended for cognitive transceivers under compactness constraints. The first part provides an overview with regard to sensing over different frequencies and angular directions, referred as spatial spectrum sensing. second describes a novel approach based on parasitic theory aiming at making feasible portable lightweight terminals. idea is replace wideband required large bandwidth by tunable narrowband both communication purposes. flexibility proposed system lies in its capability scan frequency resource dimensions simultaneously via single RF chain within miniaturized system. done properly tuning set reactive loads connected group elements closely coupled driven (active) element. By doing so, operational subband leaps another (frequency tuning). Moreover, every subband, circular permutations rotate beam pattern positions, giving transceiver various segments space.
