摘要: Background: Diabetes and depression are a highly prevalent, devastating disabling condition associated with high morbidity, mortality, healthcare consumption. Co-existing in people diabetes results decreased adherence, poor health outcome, higher complication, quality of life, increased disability lost productivity risk death. Objective: The aim this study was to determine the prevalence factors among patients Jimma University specialized hospital. Methodology: Hospital based cross-sectional conducted from 23 September 22 November 2012. A face interview using structured questionnaire by trained experienced professionals. participants were selected systematic random sampling technique. data analyzed simple descriptive analysis, binary multiple logistic regression analysis method. P-value 55 years found be independent predictor diabetes. Conclusion: This demonstrated that patient Depression might have severe impact course prognosis should therefore carefully diagnosed treated early illness.
