摘要: Introduction Direct anterior approach (DAA) total hip arthroplasty (THA) has become increasingly popular, largely due to utilization of a true internervous and intermuscular plane. However, recent literature demonstrated an increased rate femoral implant subsidence with this approach. Hence, different implants, such as the tri-tapered stem, have been developed facilitate proper component insertion positioning prevent subsidence. The purpose study was evaluate stem implanted utilizing DAA, determine if proximal bone quality affects Methods A retrospective analysis 155 consecutive primary THAs performed by single surgeon conducted. Age, gender, diagnosis, radiographic measurements each subject were recorded. Radiological evaluations, quality, canal fill, subsidence, measured on standardized anteroposterior (AP) frog-leg lateral radiographs at 6-week 6-month postoperative follow-up evaluations. Results average stems 1.18 ± 0.8 mm. There no statistical difference in amount based diagnosis or femora quality. design consistently filled 91.9 4.9% fill. Subsidence not significantly associated age, flare index (CFI), experience surgeon. Conclusion THA DAA can achieve consistent reliable fit regardless
