摘要: Abstract Background Shorter femoral stems have been increasingly used in total hip arthroplasty. However, there are few clinical studies evaluating the outcomes of these and comparing them to their regular-sized counterparts. Methods Our study provides radiologic functional at 5-year mean follow-up 131 cementless Tri-Lock Bone Preservation Stems, a short tapered stem with proximal porous coating. Results Stem-related complications were low one revision for aseptic loosening. Kaplan-Meier analysis estimated 99.2% survival rate 5 years, comparable conventional length (99.8% 8.9 years). Conclusion This demonstrates that Stem can provide successful follow-up. Further required determine long-term outcome implants patients poor bone stock.
