摘要: The studies were performed on autopsy material of 18 patients who died between the ages 70-89 y, and 5 23-44 ys age. White matter frontal lobe oerebellum was submitted for histological biochemical analysis. neuropathological data provided a rationale dividing into two subgroups: one including mainly with vascular changes in brain, other consisting senile atrophy Alzheimer type. Chemical alterations noted both cerebellum an increase lysophosphatidylcholine content marked decrease myelin yield. Additionally, sulphatide observed. chemical results almost identical subgroups patients, although they differ patterns lesions. It is emphasized that general yield as well some minor lipid pattern seem to be sign aging are not connected
