摘要: Purpose To investigate an alternative approach to correct for flip angle inaccuracies in the driven equilibrium single pulse observation of T1 (DESPOT1) mapping method. Materials and Methods While DESPOT1 is a robust method rapid whole-brain voxelwise longitudinal relaxation time, inherently sensitive transmitted angle, defined by B1 field, which become more severe with increased field. Here we propose extension technique, involving additional acquisition inversion-prepared SPGR image alongside conventional multiangle data. From these combined data both may be determined high accuracy precision. The evaluated at 3T phantom vivo imaging experiments, derived estimates compared values calculated from multiple inversion time recovery data. Results The provides correction variations, less than 5% error reference between 300 msec 2500 msec. Conclusions The described approach, dubbed DESPOT1-HIFI, permits 3T, 1 mm3 isotropic voxels, clinically feasible (≈10 minutes) greater J. Magn. Reson.
