摘要: L-Glutamate is one of the major excitatory neurotransmitters in central nervous system. We have been investigating neurons from hippocampus, where glutamate thought to be transmitter Schaffer collateral-commissural pathway and hippocampal perforant path (Crawford Connor 1973; Nadler et al. 1978). Glutamate appears several roles There a well-documented role for normal synaptic transmission. In addition, overactivity systems has implicated variety neurological diseases (for review, see Choi 1988) such as Alzheimer’s (Geddes 1986; Hyman 1987; Maragos 1987), epilepsy (Schwarcz 1984), Huntington’s disease (Coyle Schwarcz 1976), stroke (Rothman 1984; Simon 1984). Along with these fonctions, we demonstrated another glutamate: related amino acids may play specific both generation degeneration (Mattson 1988a,b, 1989; Mattson Kater 1989).
