摘要: Mammalian silent information regulator 1 (SIRT1) has been reported to play a role in cancers of the secretory organs including thyroid, pancreatic endocrine tumors and ovary [1-4]. A recent meta-analysis conducted on 37 selected studies human analyzes correlations overall survival (OS), disease-free (DFS) or relapse-free (RFS) with SIRT1 expression [5]. Interestingly, overexpression associates worse OS liver lung cancers, while is not correlated breast cancer, colorectal gastric carcinoma. Collectively, evidences as an unfavourable for solid malignancies. consistent result recently also diffuse large-B cell lymphoma follicular lymphoma, two major subtypes Non-Hodgkin lymphomas [6]. Given growing importance this class lysine/histone deacetylase malignancies, rational focused literature assessment desirable light future clinical translations.
