摘要: Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) B27 is the key laboratory parameter for axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA). Its prevalence variable across different geographic zones and ethnicities, often mirrors of axSpA. HLA-B27 plays a role in axSpA physiopathology. It correlated with phenotype consistent positive association family history, early disease onset, shorter diagnostic delay, hip involvement, acute anterior uveitis. has pivotal many referral strategies. However, these strategies were developed European populations need to be evaluated lower background prevalence, where additional parameters might needed.
