摘要: The selective oxidation of lower alkanes, such as ethane, remains a major research challenge in catalysis. In this study Fe and Cu containing zeolites are investigated catalysts for the production C2 oxygenated products from ethane using H2O2 an oxidant. We utilise trickle bed reactor to effectively control contact time between reactants catalyst minimise C–C scission over COx. Reaction conditions temperature, pressure reactant concentration combination with content optimise conversion selectivity products. A marked effect is observed upon increasing 1 30 bar, oxygenate increases 46% 98%. Single pass (22%) acetic acid (73%, 16% yield) has been Fe/ZSM-5 under optimum conditions. Catalysts stability, undergo no apparent deactivation test conditions, despite low levels leaching. Through characterisation assessment leached catalysts, we show that catalytic activity might be attributed species within zeolite’s channels surface FexOy spectator species. Finally, relatively high ethene (38%, 1% materials these mild reaction
