摘要: OBJECTIVEIn the past decade, role of endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) has relevantly evolved for skull base tumors. In this study, authors review their surgical experience with using an EEA in treatment clival chordomas, which are deep and infiltrative lesions, they highlight advantages limitations ventral approach.METHODSAll consecutive cases chordoma treated between 1998 2015 at a single institution included study. Preoperative assessment consisted neuroimaging (MRI CT angiography sequences) endocrinological, neurological, ophthalmological evaluations, were repeated 3 months after surgery annually thereafter.
