摘要: Abstract Burgeoning global energy demand and rapid diminution of fossil fuel reserves urged to seek for a sustainable source like bioethanol. Single pot bioprocessing (SPB) strategy employing in-house laccase, cellulase plus xylanase amylase along with hexose pentose sugar fermenting yeasts (Saccharomyces cerevisiae Pichia stipitis) is designed in this study ethanol production from biogenic municipal solid waste (BMSW). BMSW when subjected simultaneous pretreatment saccharification (SPS) resulted 79.69% enzymatic digestibility fared better compared alkali pretreated counterparts (14.03%–51.10%). The maximum total release case SPS was 146.9 g/L 24 h. concentration 5.24% (v/v) 30 h obtained SPB at 25% (w/v) loading. an interesting effective alternative MSW going landfill or incineration added perk wealth conversion.
